A-Z Monday: T is for...

TEACHER

Teachers have existed since we needed to be taught
Teachers give us something that quite simply can't be bought
Knowledge is a gift that will fulfill your every day
So listen to your teachers - there is gold in what they say!

My daughter is a teacher; my wife's a teacher too
And so I am surrounded - I've learned from what they do
I've learned of dedication and care for whom they teach
And seen the great rewards in the lives that they can reach!

We went out to dinner with K's boyfriend's parents this weekend. His mom is a teacher, and so was our waitress at the restaurant. I have 3 sisters-in-law that are teachers, and two nieces as well. I'm surrounded by them. I consider that a very good thing.

Happy Monday!

Wonderful poem.
I am sure with all the teachers in your life, there is never a chance of bad grammar either. :)

I certainly admire teachers! Being that Caleb graduated from High School last year and Jordan will be a senior this fall I have a great appreciation for certain teachers that were very special to my kids school years. They will not be forgotten.

My daughter's also one to teach
The special needs she wants to reach
The pay is never up to speed
But teachers we will always need
