A-Z Monday: S is for

Security

Remember the sense that a parent would bring
When your mom or your dad took you under their wing?
A sense of security, safety and peace
They'd watch over you like this family of geese
But slowly they'd ease as the goslings had grown
And give them the time to be off on their own
Then sooner or later they'd depart the nest...
But those times in their family were some of the best
By their presence, the parents made it so clear
That while they were there, there was nothing to fear!
