A-Z Mondays: Brought to you by the Letter B
B is for BIRDS
Of which we have two
Can you tell which is "Sunny"
and which is named "Blue"?
These are mainly my wife's - she's always had parakeets since I met her, including one named Charlie who was a good talker. These guys mainly just make loud parakeet noises at each other. Parakeet pointer: Slinkys (Slinkies?) really make great perches!

Hello,
My name is Sharath Patil. I think that your blog is very interesting. I would like to invite you to read some of my articles. I have a different way of looking at the world. Thank you. And you're a very good photographer.
He he.I'm guessing Sunny is the yellow one, so means the green one must be Blue? I'll be passing the slinky tip on to my pals in Tucson who have a paracootie too. (Where does one find a slinky in this day & age??)
very clever Ben!
Cassie: actually, Blue is blue; I think the flash and the overexposed picture may have turned him green.
B for birds!! the are lovely
One of my friends has parakeets in elementary school and when I slept over it was so loud in the morning!
I like their colors - so vibrant!
(Glad you liked the boppies - they were a lifesaver!)
This is very cute....love the poem!!!I had a parakeet or two as a kid...they are cute...but loud and messy. :)
Sunny and blue.love thier names!!!
B is for BUDGIE, too. Isn't that the same thing as a parakeet?
Slinkys..who knew? Clever idea.
Yep, budgie is short for budgeregar or something like that. I believe that is what they are. Thought about using it, but didn't know how to work it into a poem - they're not pudgy, or fudgy.
I didn't know you had birds! I keep looking at all those adorable finches in the pet store but so far I haven't talked myself into it.
Beautiful Birds, Ben!
