Blessed with a New Grand-Dog

rather humorous underbite - will she need orthodontics?
Well, our daughter found her growing family a new member this past weekend. This new pup (about a year old and pretty much fully grown) was free to a good home, complete with a really nice foldable travel cage and some other dog "notions".
Her name is Lily (unless they change it a little). She is a pug mix, and I know how several of you out there in blog land are pretty favorable toward pugs. She spent a trial night at our house (a "Three Dog Night", if you will) getting used to the other grand-dog, Ana, the Fox/Boston Terror - I mean Terrier - and our ol' spaniel. She passed the test and has joined our daughter and son-in-law at their apartment. Word is that all is well and, whereas Ana used to demand human attention whenever she was awake, she is now spending her time running all over the place with Lily, which is by and large a good thing for all involved.
We are so proud, doting grandparents that we are.
another lily, the day variety, this one in our yard

That's a pretty day lilly. I have mostly your typical orange ones and one that's burgandy and yellow.
Iwant to buy some that are more interesting.

Oh...Lily is so cute!! I love her adorable under bite. You can sure see the pug in her. A new friend of Seadra & Zoe and Bella & Athena!

Lilly is lucky to have found a great family. I too have a Pug and a Boston Terrier. The Boston was a rescue and the Pug was homeless at age 16 weeks when I purchased him. They so much appreciate a good home.

I sure see the pug traits more than I see the Boston traits in Ana. Though, she does kind of resemble a BT from the back.

Cute cute cute! that's all I have to say. :)
Oh, and I hope Lily knows not to bother the chicken.

I will have to tell my daughter her dog is a winner as far as my fellow bloggers go. Margaret, I agree with Ana - we were just discussing it. Some white markings are about all she's got, Boston-wise. And I certainly hope that chicken is out of reach (if anything really is)

Love the pictures! The dogs continue to do well together and are keeping each other very entertained!

The first thing that popped into my head when I saw the first picture was "distinquished English gentlewoman". I know she will be a added treasure to your family. Congratulations grandparents.
