ANSWERS ARE NOW ADDED IN CAPS
I WOULD NOT EAT GREEN EGGS AND HAM, SAM I AM
GREEN DAY
Green acres is the place to be
Farm living is the life for me
Land spreading out,
so far and wide
Keep Manhattan,
just give me that countryside.
What song is Kermie singing?
IT'S KERMIT AND GORDON IS PROBABLY RIGHT THAT HERE HE IS CROONING "RAINBOW CONNECTION". BUT FOR OBVIOUS REASONS I WAS THINKING OF "IT'S NOT EASY BEING GREEN"

THIS WOULD BE THE GREEN LANTERN, WITH WHICH (OR WHOM) I AM NOT FAMILIAR
In the picture above, it's the guy on the right, not the Capt....
I GREW UP WITH THESE GUYS...CAPT. KANGAROO AND THE INESTIMABLE MR. GREEN JEANS

And their biggest hit was...
GREEN TAMBOURINE. THE FOLLOWUP WAS "RICE IS NICE" AND IT DID NOT SCORE VERY HIGH ON THE CHARTS.

The little guy is "Little Spout".
I get the points ;0]
To continue getting points on this color. ....Kermit is singing "Rainbow Connection". That's good old Mr. Green jeans with the Captain. The Lemon Pipers sang "Green Tambourine". I'm taking a guess on the last picture...is that from "How Green is my Valley?"
Getting all of these answers right is probably making all of your readers green with envy. :0]
Nice work Gordon. You misspelled "sprout" but I will give you the points anyway. By the way, the winner does not receive any "green"...
I got nine of them and that is my final answer. I'm pathetic. ha! ~~anything to do with music I generally fail at.
Great Green post Ben-I'll be back for the answers.
You sure that's not "Li'l Sprout"? I know one of those guys is the green lantern and one is the green hornet, but danged if I know the difference.
What's the house?
Hey Ben, I got stumped on the Lemon Pipers. But I see they sang Green Tambourine which was a favorite song of mine!
Fun post, Ben! I knew all but three I think. That's pretty good for a Monday, right? HA! Happy Monday to you! :)
Like Daisy, I knew all but three. I'll be checking back - this was a lot of fun!
I know 11 out of the 13. I'll be checking back. Good green trivia post!
Eleven out of the 13 (or even 9, Jen) is great. I am not sure I would have scored higher - without all the "research" (it's called "Googling") I did for this. I may do the same thing with blue since my brain is recalling a lot of Blue this and that as well.
This is a fun post. All I'm going to say is that I got more right than wrong.
Oh, I love this, and only because I know most of them :)
Green Giant and lil' sprout.
Green eggs and ham
Green day.
Green acres. (is the place for me!)
Kermit. IT ain't easy being green.
Oh, some super green guy??? :)
I grew up with Mr. Green Jeans. my bff.
Oh, shucks...don't know these guys.
The Green Mile. One of the best and saddest movies ever.
I heart Shrek.
oops, I am at a loss at the last three.
I almost feel like a failure...but I did recycle a bunch today, so I am really green.
Nice work, Suz! I will post the answers tomorrow night. The picture of the home is from the world of literature.
Here are my guesses:
Jolly Green Giant & Little Sprout.
Green Eggs & Ham.
Green Day.
Green Acres.
Kermit sang "It's Not Easy Being Green".
Green Lantern.
Mr. Green Jeans.
Green Hornett.
The Green Mile.
Shrek.
Green Tambourine.(I didn't know this one)
Green Gables.
Green Valley.
I think I just missed the one.
Well I can't answer any - that first one reminds me of an advert on UK tv for sweetcorn and the Jolly green giant.
Looks like Cassie wins this round!
